Brian Beaulieu has been an economist with ITR Economics since 1982 and its CEO since 1987. At ITR, Brian has driven applied research with regard to business cycle trend analysis and implemented that research at the practical, company level. For the past 35 years, he has been leading workshops and seminars across the US and Canada for thousands of business owners and executives.

Prior to joining ITR Economics, Brian served as an economist for the US Department of Labor, where he worked on the health-care component of the Consumer Price Index. Brian has coauthored, with Alan Beaulieu, the books “Prosperity in the Age of Decline,” “Make Your Move,” and, for children, “But I Want It!”

Renee Merker, Director, Communications and Events of PMPA

"Brian has been presenting to our group since 2008 – he holds the top 5 spots in our speaker rankings (out of 171). I think he enjoys speaking to our members as much as our members enjoy hearing him!"

Dick Motley, Director of FANUC America Corporation

Brian, just a short note of personal thanks for participating in our ASI Conference last week. I'd have to say the response to your presentation was overwhelmingly positive; everyone appreciated the content and your delivery, even your candid comments about the looming crisis late in the next decade."

Mark D'Agostino, President of ConnectedHR

"Brian delivered not only the data, outlook and economic indicators, he brought insight and wit, and painted a positive picture of the US as the economic leader of the world; as opposed to what we see and hear from the media and politicians."

Jack Fleischer, Hermitage Lighting

"Brian, I must tell you that you are absolutely one of the most engaging and knowledgeable speakers that we have ever had on economics. I am going to invest in with both feet and then clear the decks in 2028. I don’t want to be behind you. Your mix on humor and knowledge makes for an incredible time. Thank you so much for your insight."
